to flee from memory
Intense emotions leave vivid memories. Are they accurate? Are the really representations of reality? Or just impressions? Sometimes crisp, sometimes hazy, sometimes as fleeting as a sidewise glance. They are often imbued with layers of other emotions that change with time.
this is an exploration and a work in progress. The images are beginning to evolve and split into two groups – one of which is primarily about impressions of the coast and the power of the ocean and our desire to be by the sea.
As the work evolves I share with you, the images that are having the most powerful influences on me and their evolution.
