5_malone_makingmywaydown_2012

One of my new “Park” images, Making My Way Down, will be part of the group exhibition for the annual Gift of Gift of party and event. The event was started in 2009 as a way to give young art lovers a chance to support emerging photographers through an annual Exhibition & Vote Party.

My piece is one of seventeen that will be exhibited. Money is raised through the party ticket sales and pooled to buy as many of the images as possible. The images are then offered as a gift of Gift of Gift of to the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston permanent collection. Pretty cool idea.

The event is August 4th at Caroline Collective in Houston Texas.
